BOAT DAVIT Gravity type life boat davits, which are designed and manufactured to comply with the 1983 and 1996 amendments to the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea,1974, and the LSA Code, can respond to any type of classification survey due to our rigorous quality control and state-of-the-art inspection equipment. Gravity type life boat davits are launching devices using boat falls and lowering winches. Crew members can get on board at their storage positions, and life boats can be drawn out and lowered to alight on water by remote control from inside the life boats. The speed at which the life boats are lowered by their own weight is maintained within a fixed range, and can be stopped at the desired position, which allows for a safe and speedy escape.
